地方自治体立病院の経営改革の現状と課題--長崎県立病院のケースを中心として

The management reform has being performed in the two municipallyowned hospitals (Nagasaki Prefectural Shimabara Hospital and Nagasaki Medical Center of Psychiatry) in Nagasaki prefecture, Japan since 2001．Nagasaki Prefectural Shimabara Hospital is general hospital and Nagasaki Medical Center of Psychiatry is mental hospital. Both are changing exsiting strategy of the hospitals by emphasizing acute and specialized medical service and inducing streamline of management. This management reform is going on now. The purpose of this paper is to explore the management reform in the two hospitals with the published data from the hospital bureau of Nagasaki prefecture and in comparison with the municipally-owned hospitals in Japan.
