Recently, many towns and villages has been reorganizated. These projects arealmost accompanied with the transmigration. We has investigated the problems and the background of the reorganization of villages in Yogo, Shiga prefecture. We report about these outline. This report is composed of three parts, (1) the background of reorganization of villages, (2) the feature and the evolution of the district, (3) some problems on practice of the reorganization.
