In this essay, we examined how the relations between children and their care-givers had affected the children’s development from the viewpoint of relational analysis. First of all, we discussed Takashi Kujiraoka’s theory on children’s development, which he has been eagerly developing in the light of their reciprocal relations with their care-givers. This essay is indebted to Kujiraoka’s standpoint of practical researches in early childhood education. We also discussed the potential which the child-care methodology based on the mutual relations between children and their care-givers may bring forth in terms of their existence and development. The perspective which we presented here includes not only how children developed in the relation but also how care-givers advanced their skills in applying adequate care to their pupils. Our discussion is two-folded in its logical structure. First, we considered how the group-based teaching methodology which we adopted in our research might be effective in terms of its contribution to fostering a sound group-organization among the children and enhancing their personal development. Second, we offered the curriculum of child-care which we hope would conduce to the healthy child-care and help us to grasp children’s development in a concrete manner.
