青少年の性行動とSTD/STIs予防行動について─セクシュアル・ヘルスの観点から─

近年，10代の若者を中心に性感染症（STD/STIs）の罹患が増加している。エイズ感染についても青少年は個別施策層として位置づけられ，予防のための効果的な施策をとることが求められている。本稿では，青少年の性行動に関する国内の調査研究を概観し，おもにHIV/AIDSを含むSTD/STIsへの感染や人工妊娠中絶の予防行動として有効であるコンドーム使用についての実態を検討した。おもに，青少年の性行動，金銭が介在する性行動に関する認識と態度，コンドーム使用の状況について既存の研究結果をまとめた。コンドーム使用に関する調査は，避妊の観点から捉えられているものが多かったが，STD/STIs予防を含むセクシュアル・ヘルスの観点からすると，オーラル***時のコンドーム不使用は健康リスクとなりうる。また，セクシュアル・マイノリティの生徒・学生への配慮や，学校で調査を実施する際の環境的問題，研究成果の具体的な還元の必要性などが課題として挙げられた。The likelihood of contracting sexually transmitted diseases/illnesses (STD/STIs) increases for young people in their teens. This age-group has been identified as a priority for policies related to AIDS infection, and effective measures for prevention have been highly sought after in recent years. In this article, domestic survey studies on youths' sexual behaviors are reviewed. Research on the use of condoms to prevent pregnancy and STD/STI's are the primary focus, and studies on sexual behavior that involve money are looked at as well. Based on the results of the review, experience with sexual intercourse was over 30% among high school students, and more females had experience than males. Additionally, among female high school students, the rate of experience with "juvenile prostitution" was from 2.3% to 7.9%. Many students who had sexual intercourse used condoms as their primary birth control method, but most did not use condoms when engaging in oral sex. Among the studies identified for the review, most looked at condom-use for pregnancy prevention. The authors argue for increased research into topics including the use of condoms for STD/STIs prevention, the importance of using condoms for oral sex, and issues surrounding sexual minority students. We suggest that increased attention should be given to school environments and that students should receive feedback on research findings. In this way survey research can provide useful information and support for their sexual health.
