Photoluminescence and excitation spectra were measured on anatase single crystals with different colors; colorless, pale blue, dark blue, dark green and yellow. Time evolution of the emission in relation to the crystalline color, observed energy and excitation energy was investigated. A possible model for the relaxation process is proposed.
