A graphical method for hypocenter determinations with layered structure models is proposed. The S-P or P-0 times observed at three stations are used. Firstly, nomograms for obtaining hypocentral distance D for travel time P-O (or S-P) and focal depth are constructed from the travel time table which is calculated for an appropriate structure model. An iterative method is employed. At the j-th iteration, the following equation is solved graphically by the conventional method drawing three circles with radii corresponding to the hypocentral distances;
