8. 鳥取地方震災復舊一等水準測量成果

昭和18年9月10日鳥取地震が發生するや陸地測量部は,震源地附近の三角點の現況を調査すると共に,同地方の一等水準點の檢測復舊を實施せり.これに水準測量の檢測成果と舊水準測量の成果との比較をなし,以て土地垂直變動の考察に資せんとす.Soon after the destructive earthquake which occurred in Tottori district on September 10,1943, precise levellings were carried out by the Military Land Survey. The levellings were run along the following four lines; Tuyama-Tottori, Yaoka-Tottori, Tottori-Yasuki and Yonago-Hatago, which are shown in the maps in Fig.I. Relative vertical displacements of the bench marks as disclosed by comparing the results of the recent measurements with the earlier ones are shown in the accompanying plates. The vertical displacements deduced and shown in the plates are refered to the Fundamental bench mark No.32, situated in Tuyama, the height of which is assumed to have remained unchanged during the intervening period between the earlier and, the recent surveys. The dates of the field works and the lengths of the levelling routes for each section arc as follows:
