台風9918号による高潮災害時における宇部市床波の住民の避難行動と防災意識

The typhoon 9918 induced a typhoon tide in Tokonami, Ube. Nobody was killed by the typhoon tide, however Tokonami area suffers great damage. Evacuation behaviors to the typhoon tide and interests in disaster are investigated by a questionnaire survey. The main results are as follows; 1) Few inhabitations in Tokomami made an evacuation behavior. It may be thought that they had already lost opportunity for making the evacuation behavior. 2) It might not be said that inhabitations in Tokonami have high interests of the disaster protection. 3) The most interesting disaster for inhabitations in Tokonami is a flood disaster and second one is an earthquake. This result is influenced by the local characteristic and the characteristic of Japan.
