女性作家の植民地台湾への行進 ― 「婦人文化講演会」とその文芸的所産をめぐって ―

• 一九三〇年（昭和五）、林芙美子、北村兼子、望月百合子ら女性作家・文化人は、婦人毎日新聞社主催の婦人文化講演会の講師として植民地台湾へ赴いた。本稿では、『台湾日々新聞』と『台南新報』の関連記事を用いて、講演会の全容を明らかにした。そして、メディア戦略、講演会の料金設定、想定来場者という点から講演会の濃厚な階級色を際立たせつつ、その全貌をより立体的に浮かび上がらせた。その一方で、女性講師らの台湾旅行記に焦点を当て、植民地台湾表象の側面を強調した。彼女らは、植民地台湾で遭遇した被抑圧経験と無産労働階級問題を切り口にすることで、植民地統治の暴力性を非難した。本稿では、こうした結果に基づき、男性中心に行われていた、異国情緒、浪漫主義、国粋主義に基づいた台湾表象の欠落を前景化し、女性作家による欠如の補完を探りながら、日本統治期の植民地台湾表象の解明を試みた。In 1930, Fujin Mainichi Shinbun performed a patrol lecture named the Woman's Culture Lecture in Colonial Taiwan. In this paper, I investigated the contents and the properties of this lecture. First, I described the outline of this lecture using the local colonial newspaper, “Taiwan Daily News” and “Tainan News”. Next, I clarified the property of the lecture on the basis of the viewpoint of media strategy and rank of economic power. Furthermore, I discovered the representation of the Colonial Taiwan described by the female writers based on their traveler diaries. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the effects of the female writers on the representation of the Colonial Taiwan which was originally made by male writers.
