A new technique which allows the visualization of ultrasonic wave traveling in the interior of liquid is proposed by using a modification of Linearized Subfringe Interferometric Holography technique developed by Metherell. The technique consists of suspending fine particles in the liquid, illuminating them with sheet-like laser light and observing their vibration caused by the ultrasound holographically. Preliminary experiments are done with a 200 kHz ultrasound. The results agree well with the theoretical prediction.
