In this study, it investigated concretely for the television set about relativeness between the environmental impact reduction effect of a product and the effect in the whole TV-set product market. This study shows that the environmental impact of the whole product market would increase because the market characteristics change, in spite of improving the energy-saving performance of the product itself.
