We measure the aerodynamic heating rate of the magnetized model in the weakly ionized flow. The aerodynamic heating is significantly influenced by not only the intensity but also the configuration of the applied magnetic field. As compared to the heating in case of no magnetic field, the aerodynamic heating can be increased, contrary to the expectation from the simple prediction, or reduced, depending on the configuration.
