In the exhaust gas treatment system with ammonia-SCR, the added gas mixing technology is important. When there is a concentration deviation of the added ammonia, the chemical reaction of each local area is different, then total reasult of gas treatment become bad. In general, for the flowing-through type reactor, the short distance and the low-pressure loss mixing mechanism is required. The swirl flow is effective for mixing performance. The stator which is arranged in the circular pipe like the concentric circle with the angle of attack can generate the swirl flow. By using the flow separation of the stator, the mixing performance of the swirl flow is improved further. The flow separation of the stator produces the stagnation area behind the wing of stator. This stagnation area is useful to diffuse the added gas into the radial direction. The swirl flow is effective for the diffusion of circumference direction. The combination of the swirl flow and the flow separation brings breakthrough of mixing performance.
