Natural period is one of the most important element to determine the design seismic load and also to discuss the dynamic property. Design seismic loads for low-and medium-rise steel structures are calculated by using natural periods of buildings which are assumed by the formula T=0.03h (h : Height of building) Never the less, real natural periods are very long especially low-rise building compared with assumed natural periods. So, this paper describes the real natural period and seismic behavior of steel structure depend on real natural period.
