• This study examines the possibility of wind power generation as an electric power source in the disaster stricken district. Specifically, we measured the output electric power of the wind turbine installed in the veranda of an apartment building. The wind turbine located at the veranda, inadequate location for wind electric power generator, showed extremely lower output power than the one located on the roof of the building. However, obtained electrical power was not meaningless value in the disaster stricken district.
