In 1998, new course of study was noticed. One aim of this course of study is to make a base for students' creativity. In accomplishing the aim, in the lesson, we need to emphasize Problem-Solving activities more and more, and in the process we need to provide situations in which students positively tackle their own problems by optimizing their thinking. Activities that aim at mathematical exploration are one kind of such Problem-Solving activities. In this paper, activities for mathematical exploration and verification with computer are focused. By using questionnaires, students' conceptions of mathematical exploration and of the relationship between verification and computer were investigated after they participated in a series of lessons with computer. The lesson that students answered they did not involve enough in mathematical exploration was examined further. There was a direct influence of lesson organization in the earlier part of the lesson without computer on the students following activities with computer. It was also noticed that computer did not necessarily become a tool that led students to prove what they found. Still, there were 16.5% of students who said that computer triggered their temptation to verify what they found.
