Second harmonic components generated from the contact surfaces of the solids are detected. Second harmonic components do not depend on contact area under the constant pressure and second harmonic components can be suppressed by applying the pressure to the surfaces are experimentally clarified. Evaluation of solid contacts can be available using second harmonic components of the ultrasonic waves.
