A search for new physics with a signature of b-jets and missing transverse energy is presented. The study is based on 1.1 fb^<-1> of proton-proton collision data collected at √<S>=7 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC. The results are found to be consistent with the expectations of the standard model; limits on new physics are presented. The main results are for the generic simplified model denoted T1bbbb, in which two gluino-like objects each decay to two b-quark jets and an undetected particle. We improve the existing 95% confidence level upper limits on the T1bbbb cross section by a factor of 3-10 depending on the assumed mass values of the gluino and lightest supersymmetric particle.
