For applications such as digital TV or video conference, this paper considers real time video multicast for users with diverse screen sizes.By transmitting a video over a wireless channel accessed by the multiple users, the video can be transmitted to the all users. However,in order to gain from multicasting, quality of the channel has to be sufficiently high for the all users, and probability that such channel happens become lower as the number of the users grows. In this paper, orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) scheme is considered to solve the problem by individually allocating power and subset of the users to each OFDMA component carrier (CC).By considering the resource allocation, multicast gain and frequency diversity gain can be jointly obtained. For the video streams,we consider scalable video coding (SVC) which provides adaptabilities in terms of channel environment and screen size.In this paper, minimum bit rate is considered for each user in order to guarantee minimum video quality at least.Furthermore,we consider maximum bit rate according to the screen size of each user in order to utilize the given bandwidth and power resources more efficiently.
