Manufacturing of the exellent fine agar powder by the spray-dryer has been succeeded practically under following conditions - Spray-dryer: inside of the tower, 6m in height, 5m in diameter. Disk (at the top): 30cm in diameter, driven at a speed of 7,000 revolutions in a minute. Solution: 3% agar solution in water, kept at 80℃ in the jacket. Temperarur of air blown in: 120℃. Temperatur of the bottom of the tower: 65〜70℃. Table of comparison [table]
