Automotive UWB radar is expected highly precision target detection and classification because of high range resolution. Received signal, however, contains unwanted signals called as clutter, which makes it difficult to detect a target or some obstacles. Thus the clutter is suppressed by pulse integration and CFAR then the target is detected by threshold, but it is difficult to detect and classify the target because it is hard to integrate only the signal of target if the target has the Doppler. If the Doppler of each target and static clutter is detected before a detection processing such as pulse integration and CFAR, the moving target might be detected and classified by low signal processing. In this report, we propose a novel target detection and classification method in a multiple moving target and low SCR environment, and the usefulness is confirmed by conducting the measurement.
