654 Bending Fatigue Properties of TiNi Shape Memory Alloy

The bending fatigue characteristics of the precision-tasted TiNi shape memory alloy for brain spatula were studied. The characteristics of fatigue life in alternating-plane bending between bending at RT under constant frequency and bending with heating and cooling were investigated. Also, the progress of fatigue crack was investigated from the fracture surface by microscopic observation.
