• Ten million ton of coal fly ash is generated by every year in Japan, and 98 percent of the ash is recycled that might be an Honor student. However, the ash is mostly utilized for the construction materials in which many competitors exist. It is sure that the effective availability would decrease without the characterization of coal ash considering an application to other fields and users needs. The coal ash more than one billion ton generate a year in Chin and India by economic development. Since IGCC discharges coal ash component in the form of glassy molten slag, the ash is expected to be used as component for civil engineering etc. It is necessary to access the Japanese technology for purpose of the continuous development of the world, approaching as the "Clean coal technology".
