Acoustic waves excited in the lower atmosphere can affect various region, ionosphere, geomagnetic field and even solid Earth through acoustic-gravity wave resonance. In this study, a numerical simulation of an atmospheric disturbance associated with a volcanic eruption is performed to investigate temporal and spatial variations of the resonance. The simulation shows two resonance modes appear, and the mode of higher frequency (4.5mHz) lasts for a short period and that of lower one (3.8mHz) lasts for a long period. And it is shown that the resonance is formed not only just above the source but also in some horizontal region.
