Resuspension and sedimentation rate are important parameter for accuracy of water quality simulation in semi-closed water area, such as oxbow lakes. First, field observation and laboratory test was conducted to investigate resuspension and sedimentation rate. The model of settling and resuspension of sediment was built. Simulation model was carried out which consider distribution and movement of suspended particles in the river water. Simulation can reproduce long-term water quality, however, accuracy of calculation was insufficient in short-term change of water quality.
