Numerical study was conducted for axisymmetric steady rotating flows of Pr=O(1) Boussinesq fluid in containers under thermal stratification condition. Different angular velocity is assigned to the top, bottom and side boundaries, with the adiabatic condition is assumed on the sidewall. Behavior of the flows is consistent with the general description of the theories. When the imposed temperature difference is large, the loss of the Ekman pumping results in the replacement of the bulk flow to the flows determined by the rest of the boundary conditions. The average Nusselt number is computed and shown as functions of governing parameters.
