Concerning about various analysis and evaluation of remarkable developments of Chinese market economy, China's socialist market is confronted with many problems. In this thesis, we will analyze economic growth and business fluctuation practically during one quarter of a century in China first, and at last we will prove the functions and significance of macro-adjustments of socialist market economy. Through practical study of transition of macro-adjustments after the reform and open policy (1978) in China, we can conclude that the above macro-adjustment, especially appropriate currency management policy corresponding to GDP is quite functional and significant for socialist market economy in China.
