There is an increasing importance and expectation on leadership in organization now that unconventional and expected changes have been accelerated and it is difficult to foresee the future. It is clear that sharing reflection will necessitate more effective communications. Therefore, I started the discussion with dialogue and conversation as methodology, and dialogue and conversation are the central ideas of this paper. Specifically, the key concepts of dialogue and conversation are analyzed. I recognized that the combination of purpose-oriented dialogue and long-term-oriented conversation are important. Therefore, a cycle of reflection, learning, sharing, and application can sustain a continued leadership development. And it shows that dialogue and conversation can ensure the contribution to create a learning community. Moreover, it is recognized that an organizational culture can be changed in the long term. Thus, I came to the conclusion that leadership development has great potential for larger organizational development.
