論文(Article)出版新体制の大きな遺産は用紙規格の統制である。1940年11月の商工省令「用紙規格規則」は、日本標準規格第92号によるA列・B列以外の原紙の抄造を禁止し、製品についてはA列・B列による寸法以外の製造を禁止した。雑誌と書籍は、同規則の施行日、1941年1月1日以降、従来の菊判と四六判系列の判型から、規格判に移行した。「用紙規格規則」による出版界の混乱と、規格判が定着する過程を追う。From January 1941 number, Shin-Ryodo became smaller in size: its familiar format of “kiku" was changed to that of A5. It was to comply with the Ordinance of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued in November the previous year, which designated the A and B formats, specified by the JES 92 P1, as the only standards to observe, and strictly proscribed other conventional formats. The present chapter traces this drastic change in the context of “publishing reformations" made under the name of “New Order."
