In this article, I have examined the basic structure of Nishida's thinking in terms of immanence and transcendence, specifically paying attention to the date, that is, from his earliest days through March 1925. In this regard, what is of significance is that my views of Nishida's thought have been developed with four factors in mind. First, immanence assimilating transcendence, and vice versa, transcendence assimilating immanence. Third, immanence being separated from transcendence, and finally, transcendence being separated from immanence. What is more, my final analysis is that Nishida had gradually shifted his point of emphasis from immanence assimilating transcendence to transcendence assimilating immanence.
