• The color investigations of the streetscape are carried out in 12 cities around Tohoku area. In each city, the colors of wall and signboard were measured at around120 points. The rates of (B)/(A) are correlated with the wall color value(R=0.872) ,and chroma (R=-0.859) [A: sunshine duration par year(Hr), B: sunshine duration(Dec.-Mar.)]. The number of days covered with snow (0<D) shows some correlation with the wall color value(R=-0.519), and with chroma (R=0482) [D: Depth of snow fall] . These results are available for townscape ordinance as to color conditions in each city of the streetscape.
