This paper deals with calculations and experiments of viscous flow around 2-dimensional and axisymmetric bodies. Calculated examples by a finite difference method using the SIMPLE algorithm and the k-ε model of turbulence are compared with the experimental results at high Reynolds numbers from 10^6 to 10^8. Calculations by the method are made at various Reynolds numbers, and the scale effects of the viscous resistance and the form factor are examined. These investigations reveal following facts. (1) Calculated flow pattern, velocity, pressure and local skin friction show fairly good agreements with the experimental results. (2) Calculated turbulent flow separation shifts downstream on the body comparing with the experimental results. (3) Calculated form factor shows a tendency increasing with the Reynolds number in its pressure component.
