When a patient has problems in teeth alignment, position or malformation of the jaw bones as his main complaint, the first treatment plan we could think of would be orthodontic treatment. Its methods have options varying from a removable device to surgery. These methods would not be a problem if the patient is satisfied with and accepts these treatment plans. However this is not always the case. A patient may feel uncomfortable with the device or the device may not be suitable to patient's life style. Or another patient may prefer not to have major treatment. If so, the whole orthodontic treatment plan has to be abandoned. It is true that there are cases where prosthesis treatment gives patients enough satisfaction without applying the orthodontic treatment, if we disregard some extreme cases. These cases, however, leave a problem about long-term durability. My presentation is about the cases of teeth positioning being the main complaint, showing that prosthesis treatment can solve the patient's complaint without applying orthodontic treatment. Over 5 years have elapsed since their treatments in each case.
