• It seems that there have been in recent years the considerable amount of funds inflow from the local companies' subsidiaries in Asia, in a form of dividend or payment for technology assistance. We can consider that such funds inflow are helping employment and the development of new products by the local companies thorough reinforcement of the financing base of the companies, and, as a result, it is thought that such funds inflow is helping the regional economy. The self-act effort of the overseas subsidiaries is a premise, but if the support to such overseas subsidiaries by the region is provided, it can be expected that it will lead to more funds inflow to the region and promote further development of the regional economy.
