Considering a finite number of signals scattered over the initial set of signals, it is presented a one to one correspondence between each signal in these signals and the corresponding error of approximation in a certain small segment in the time domain. Based on these relations, we present the optimum running approximation minimizing various continuous worst-case measures of error at the same time. An application is discussed.
