In the examination of urine secretor and non-secretor can be always differentiated clearly by the use of both natural and concentrated one. That is the case with group A, B, and O. In the urine of secretor every partial group antigen (A_I, A_<III>, A_<IV> ; B_I, B_<II>, B_<III> ; O_I, O_<II>, O_<III>) can be demonstrated and in that of non-secretor none of them is shown throughout all groups. By immunization of rabbits and hens with concentrated human urine the production of group specific agglutinins could be observed, whereas the formation of group specific precipitin was not distinct, except in the case of group O. The agglutinins thus formed were in their nature easily to absorb by saliva. The examination of animal urines showed that they behave quite analogous as the saliva of the same animals. It could be found in dog urine A'+, A'-, O'+, in hog as well as sheep urine A'+, A'-, O'+, O'-. In the urine of many animals was shown the presence of Bur partial antigen, but not of B_I. Precipitin test also can be used for urine of man and animals to demonstrate blood group.substances. The antigen which is common to the red blood corpuscles of horse, rabbit and guinea pig, and not contained in human red cells could be demonstrated in the urine of these three animals, only in the case of using guinea pig red cells for agglutination inhibiting test. The behavior of the urine of rabbit and guinea pig as to such antigen is the same as that of the saliva of the same animals.
