Calvin wrote no books about school and education compared with Lutter, Erasmus and Melanchthon. Therefore, there are few studies on Calvin's educational view. What does it mean? Is it no worth studying Calvin's educational thought? No! Rather it means to be difficult to find it out because Calvin arranged pedagogy within a frame of theology completely. Calvin was also an educational thinker who recognized the value of education with arranging pedagogy within a frame of theology. If the Reformation was generally also an educational reform and further Calvin wrote no educational books compared with other reformers and if he tried to accomplish liberal arts education within the practice of church, all the more the effort to find out his educational thought in the frame of theology should be needed. The main contents are as follows: 1. His educational thought within a theological structure 2. The God, The Christ, The Holy Spirit as an educational subject 3. The education of God as the accommodation of God 4. The church as an educational system 5. His view of man - on the way of sanctification - 6. His genealogy - humanism - Calvin saw that the central concept of the education of God was the accommodation of God to men and the accomodation of God was essentially the revelation method itself of the theological salvation history. So according to Calvin, God's educational treatment is not outside but inside of the God's revelation. Calvin expressed this element of God's salvation exactly using the concept and symbol of pedagogy. That is, he thought that God's treatment of salvation contained the God's educational method. Therefore, we should find his educational thought in the structure of his theology.
