Tandem type polymer solar cells were prepared by stacking two same heterojunction composite layers. To prepare this structure, it is very important that an electoron-bloking layer must be inserted between two bulk heterojunction composite layers. The electronblocking layer is usually prepared by a coating of water-dispersed PEDOT/PSS [Poly(styrenesulfonate)/poly(2,3-dihydrothieno(3,4-b)-1,4-dioxin). However, the water-dispersed PEDOT/PSS could not be coated on [poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl)] (P3HT)/C_<60>composite films. Therefore, we investigated the PEDOT/PSS coating on the P3HT/C_<60> layer by two different approaches, 1) use of organic-solvent-dispersed PEDOT/PSS, 2) an insertion of a connecting layer of LiP or TiO_2. As a result, the insertion of the TiO_2 layer could be successfully prepared the tandem type polymer solar cells. An open circuit voltage V_<oc> of 0.689V was obtained for tandem cells. On the other hand, that of single cells was 0.439V. This V_<oc> value is not as high as twice of single cells, but as high enough that could not be obtained by one single cell.
