To evaluate electromagnetic noise interference on transmission line we proposed contact failure model in our previous study. However, using this model, we need full-wave simulations like finite difference time domain (FDTD) method which require large computer resource. Therefore circuit elements model which does not need full-wave simulation is needed. In this paper the authors measured inductance of the coaxial cable as a fundamental study for circuit elements model using TDR. Immunity of a coaxial cable depends on inductance of the contact failure region. When contact resistance is low inductance depends on contact distribution on the connector.
