Japanese companies consider that the systems of sending employees to U. S. business schools are difficult to reform compared to other systems that send employees overseas. The systems have problems: a number of MBA who quit the job after coming back to Japan is increasing ; it is difficult to utilize MBA's professional skill; and so on. Due to the change in Japanese business environments in 1990's, Japanese companies are looking to reformat the systems, but many of them still have not found the answer. The assumption of this paper is that within the system, there are those with lower MBA turnover ratio and higher MBA turnover ratio. The aim of this paper is to describe these patterns of systems and show the direction for reforms, which is the system with lower MBA turnover ratio.
