Wind to be on the sea makes the ocean waves. Since the offshore energy is richer than the coastal site, it is attractive to extract the rich one with a floating station. The station can be a floating breakwater, too. For this purpose, an active damping method was studied to be the floating station stable on the wavy sea in heave, surge and pitching directions (Patent pending). In case of the Pendulor (wave energy converter) was installed on the station, it has been studied with a water tank the relationship between the station stability and the energy extraction. The method proved not only to make the station stable well but also the Pendulor extracts the energy efficiently. Applying the results, the energy cost estimated using a prototype station which has a wind turbine and two of the Pendulor on it.
