This study was mainly conducted by analyzing Yang-Kui's literary announcements and literature discourses in the 1940 to 1945 period. It also explored the practical meanings and influences of presentation of Yang-Kui's discourses.During this period of time, the creation of literature was limited by the war. Yang Kuinovels, therefore, did not reveal a strong sense of the class struggle. A change could be seen in "WU Yl TSUEN", "CALY DOLL", "GOOSE GETS MARRIED". Yang-Kui did not follow the national policy, although it was a topic which related to the war. He cared about the spirit and living will of labourers who tried to survive during wars instead.In the period discussed above, Yang-kui continued to describe how capitalism oppressed proletarianism. Besides thus, he also focused on criticizing the system of colonization.
