The music and dance in the school of Japan are of foreign character, and largely different from the traditional ones. Hence they are apt to be forced to students rather than to take out students' creativity. From such consideration, we intended to reconstruct school music and dance which are, based on the Japanese tradition, more natural and necessary to Japanese students. The study started with the classification of traditional child songs by word, melody and play accompanied to the songs. Further, the study proceeded to the examination of those songs in accents, rhythm, words and motion naturally accompanied to them. Then, picking up some songs, we arranged them to concert to secondary students, with some educational considerations.
