Geometrical diagrams, graphs and pictures are often considered difficult due to the non-linear nature of them. The learning of practical geometry concepts largely depends on the usage of an appropriate geometrical device. The existing geometry devices used in special schools for the visually impaired in the India have inherent limitations to make precise tactile pictures. A new device referred as 'Tactile Graphic Tool' has been designed using acrylic templates with Braille and tactile indications. The advantage of the device was the possibility of making tactile diagrams by the visually impaired. Case studies had been done and it was found this device serves effective while teaching and learning geometry constructions. The making of the device, trial and evaluation have been presented in this paper.
