Japanese society has undergone a drastic change as a result of high-level economic growth began in shouwa-30 period. But the rich relations of humans to the natural world also subsisted in the period. We can regard shouwa-30 period as some indicators of environmental issues: indicator in order to relativize modern Japanese society, and indicator in order to constitute an ideal system of its social future. Two revolutions caused Japanese society's drastic change: fuel (heat source) revolution, mechanical power revolution. These revolutions set Japanese free of heavy labors, and also force them to lose their skills or abilities to have relation to natural world and to produce a wide variety of goods, of which they were in need to live, to work and to arrange their everyday life, from natural world. To lose the skills also means that they came to be unable to produce a variety of goods and to have relation to the natural world through their labors or works. Japanese people lost their skills or labors by accepting the labor-powers transcended the restraint of the nature. I suggest that culture is to obey the restraints of the nature, and that civilization is to escape from the restraints of the nature. Environmental issues originate in the escape from the restrains of the nature, which arose by the accepting the labor-powers transcended the restraints of the nature.
