The stock corporation, as a whole, plays the role as one of the central motive powers in the circulation of money. The commercial transactions dealed by it, show in the amount of money the greater part of the all. It borrows money from the banks for the commercial transactions as well as for constructing and extending of its plants. When it raises capital by issuing shares or bonds, the contributors pay money mostly borrowed from banks. The greater part of the money in circulaton is pushed forth by the activities of the stock corporations. The money lent by the banks come back by and by to the banks as deposits, and the money deposited at banks is again lent to their customers while retaining the neccessary reserve for repayment to the depositors. These loans also come back to the banks as deposits, and act as the fund for the loans. Every loan makes a deposit and deposited money is used for loans. This alternative change expands the amount of money in circulation to the extreme restricted by the ratio of reservation. In this expansion, the stock, corporation works the leading part by its commercial transactions and raising capital. This treatise deals with this monetary mechanism in regard to the economic activities of stock corporation.
