簡易計測法によるEasy Programmingへの入力用数値データの取得方法について : CNCパイプベンダーを応用した教育実践に関する研究(その1)

This report aims discuss on the method for measuring models of parts that is to be made by a piece of flat paper or small wood tips so that it is may be easier to input bending data into Easy Programming, which is data input program for CNC pipe bender. CNC pipe bender surely works tobend metal pipes that are components of such as street furniture, outdoor board sign frames, and so on. Appliance of CNC pipe bender towards Design Education is also recognized as highly valuable, so at School of Art and Technology there have been the projects using it since 2004. Through 4 years' educational trials, I have found the method above mentioned for students to find enough input data against CNC pipe bender in rather rational ways of making small pieces of parts within their works. The most striking points are as follows: (1) Flat pieces of paper model are made fairly easily just by some drawing works.(2) As for three dimensional shapes, it is strongly suggested to make small wooden models for finding the real bending curves. Those wooden models would guide the three dimensional drawings, and make rather easier to measure the bending data; R-value, T-value, and P^value.
