Although Toshi Village of Toshi Island, Ise Bay has been famous for active fishery and densely built-up of the house for the long time, the village society is now changing for the cause of rapid aging or arising tourism. This paper reports on the results of the research on traditionally organized dwelling space of the society and its changes at present. Points at issue in the description are as follows; 1. Remarkable characteristics and spatial contrivances seen in the house and the village. 2. Social activity and practice in everyday life of the aged. 3. Mutual relationship between spatial organization and everyday life of the aged. 4. Changes of the village society on the whole under the situation of prevailing tourism as an alternative subsistence instead of fishery.
