Is is not easy for the students at Matsuyama Shinonome Junior College to teach English in a classroom for the first time. Therefore a number of problems are bound to arise while they practice-teach. There is a wide gap between lectures in college and actual practice-teaching in junior high school. The purpose of this paper is to close the gap by appropriate teaching methods and by taking other factors into consideration. The recent trend is communicative approach to language teaching. The students who practice-teach at junior high schools should incorporate this approach to English teaching.
