The purpose of this paper was to reveal how children develop their interests in the integrated learning including music and how they learn by crossing some subject matters, analyzing the example of integrated learning at the 5th grade-class, Mutsumi-Hokubu Elementary School, 1996. The author concluded as follows: The children's interests developed according to the genetic process of Minyo (a folk-song). And the contents in different subject matters were learned integratedly through the development of interests.
